Osmo maintenance kit is an ideal choice for routine cleaning, as it effectively removes dirt and grime without leaving residue.
Deep Cleaning and Refreshing:
Over time, wood floors may require a more thorough cleaning to remove stubborn stains or embedded dirt. Osmo offers a specialized product called Osmo Intensive Cleaner, which is suitable for deep cleaning and refreshing the surface. Dilute the cleaner according to the instructions and apply it to the floor using a mop or sponge. Allow it to penetrate for a few minutes, then gently scrub the floor with a soft brush or scrubbing pad. Finally, rinse the floor with clean water and dry it thoroughly.
Renew or refresh the Finish / oil:
Over time, the protective finish on your wood floor may wear down, leaving it vulnerable to damage and dulling its appearance. To rejuvenate the finish, Osmo maintenance oil is an exceptional choice. This product nourishes the wood, enhances its natural grain, and provides long-lasting protection. Clean the floor thoroughly before applying the Osmo oil using a brush, roller, or lint-free cloth. Apply the oil evenly, following the wood grain, and allow it to dry according to the instructions. Repeat the process if necessary to achieve the desired level of protection and sheen.
Regular Maintenance Tips:
- Avoid excessive moisture and wipe up spills immediately to prevent water damage.
- Place mats or rugs in high-traffic areas and near entryways to minimize dirt and grit from scratching the floor.
- Use felt pads or protective coasters under furniture legs to prevent scratches and dents.
